Well, I submitted my application on the 17th of September.
Completed my Video Essay on the 28th and surprisingly received my interview invite about 30 mins after my Video Essay submission - so I am pretty sure it has no connection with your video essay. They just roll out the invites as and when they can and based on availability.
A friend of mine got her invite even before submitting the Video Essay. So don't worry, just be patient, you will either get your invite or receive a waiver.

Had my interview today with an alumnus of Kellogg. Nice fellow. Had the interview in his office. Questions in the beginning were a bit off the standard types. But all questions revolved around why MBA, why Kellogg, how are you going to add to Kellogg community etc. Everything took an hour.

Are you sure, they invite every one? I mean, is it also possible that the gap b/w dates of two invites, from the same geographical location, could extend to days/weeks?
I'm from New Delhi area & one of my friend from New Delhi got it, but I didn't! :|

We need to understand that no one except the Kellogg admissions committee will have such information (if there is any!). The "lists" refer to the wave of email invites that have been sent out by the admissions committee and BASED ON THE INPUTS OF GMATCLUB MEMBERS, we have seen 2 'lists' till now. All of these are mere speculations so take this information with a grain of salt.

I botched my video interview questions too... When I interviewed with an alumnus, he mentioned that the in-person interview would be weighed equally as all other elements in the app but he did not say anything about the video questions.

Given that the video questions part is relatively new (correct me if I am wrong but I think it was introduced two years ago) and that they interviewed/will interview you in person anyways, I don't think that it's the end of the world that we did not do so well on them. Just being positive :)

Agree - since they are relatively new they probably get less weight. Also, this is the first year (also correct me if I'm wrong) that they are doing no re-takes. I would imagine they are going to get a ton of mediocre responses from otherwise well-qualified candidates. Two one minute videos with no retakes seems like a pretty meaningless data point in my opinion. Probably just fun for the admissions staff!

We all hear back on the same date correct?

I had my interview this week with an alum. Overall a good experience. I was incredibly nervous going in, but that disappeared when we started talking. The alum was very nice, encouraging and easy to speak with. We spent a lot of time on my professional experiences on my resume, asking probing questions to find out more details, and then the standard, why MBA, why Kellogg, and other related questions.

Now the waiting begins! Good luck to all!
