hi All,

Has anyone conducted his interview via Skype? With whom is it usually done? and what are the questions addressed? I have mine scheduled for next week.

Thanks,

I've just had an interview with a lady from admissions team via Skype. It lasted roughly 40 minutes and was quite relaxed.

First, she asked me to walk her through my resume and my experience at college. Then we talked about my career progression at the current employer, and discussed my strengths and weaknesses. I also got several standard questions on "Why MBA? Why now? Why Kellogg" and also talked about my extracurricular activities. In the end, I was asked if there is anything else I would like to add, and got to ask questions myself.

Overall, it was much less scarier experience that I anticipated, with no unexpected questions

Anyone from Singapore who hasn't been invited for an interview yet (like me)?

Given that there seem to have been a couple of invites, I'm not sure what to make of not having received an invite yet.

Hi All,

I had my interview today, nothing new to tell but just a suggestion to everyone who will be interviewing later in this round or future rounds. Be prepared with your story, and be ready to answer 'Why?' for all you did.

Good luck to all.

Had my off campus alumni interview. It was very conversational and informative. I was asked a little bit about my background and my motivation to go to Kellogg and get my MBA.

The bulk of my 1 hour interview was asking about my interviewer's experience at Kellogg and asking for advice.

I don't know if video essay is a criterion for interviews. I got my invite in 45 minutes of VE submission.

Hey guys,

I just got done with my interview with an alumnus at his office in Dubai. It was decent I suppose.
Nothing new to add apart from what has already been listed, but like many people have already stated earlier, I will reiterate that you need to know your story inside out and especially Why MBA, Why Now and Why Kellogg?

Hope this helps and good luck :)

I suppose it's directly mid-December for us now? There's nothing else I hope. Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks :)

Well, I submitted my application on the 17th of September.
Completed my Video Essay on the 28th and surprisingly received my interview invite about 30 mins after my Video Essay submission - so I am pretty sure it has no connection with your video essay. They just roll out the invites as and when they can and based on availability.
A friend of mine got her invite even before submitting the Video Essay. So don't worry, just be patient, you will either get your invite or receive a waiver.
