For anyone trying to schedule an interview - try now. I was able to do so.

Mine has an "x" by complete interview request but no "schedule interview" in my next steps, any thoughts on what to do there? Are you seeing the option to schedule in the portal? Mine has an X next to it but nowhere to schedule

For me, the interview scheduling issue was resolved and I was able to sign up for the slot on the application portal!

in the application portal i had an update to the next steps where they asked me to submit the timezone, once i had submitted the timezone i can see the status as below. Your interview request was received September 20, 2022. We are working with our pool of volunteers to find an interviewer. Generally, this may take a few days. You will be notified via email when a volunteer is available to interview with you. but didn’t get any mail as such
