For the people who've interviewed, how long did the prep take? I'm unfortunately starting the process pretty late and my last interview experience was years ago. Also general question - were there any questions on industry trends / consulting case studies? Seen a few people report this for different years - albeit on a much rarer basis than more standard questions.
I assume you’ve checked the
interview debriefs for feedback and interview experience.
In my experience, if you’re going to do it with a good friend or someone else, do you want to do a live and non-life prep. I think you need to think about the most common answers and framework about what it is you want to project and portray, tone, how professional or friendly you want to be canceling. Would be good to do at least one or two or three sessions live with someone who knows what they’re doing so that they can give you feedback that should be sufficient.
PS. From my Toastmasters years, and that was many years ago, for a good speech, or even the bad one, are you expected to spend about an hour per minute of prep. That is, of course, for a speech, and then this case it should come off more naturally, but you can really think a lot of time to prep. 🥴
