I don’t see a downside. I think it in fact shows that you are interested in Kellogg and that’s why you are writing to them.

I too wanted to know if any downsides. If adcoms have to review multiple fast track (or expedited decisions), won’t we be competing against a set of extraordinary candidates who have multiple admits

Northwestern’s Kellogg School Makes an M.B.A. Play for Laid-Off Tech Workers https://www.wsj.com/articles/northweste ... yp8l5eg334

Recently laid-off tech employees can apply to pursue a full-time M.B.A. or other graduate degree next year without submitting standardized test scores.

I guess this would result in an increase in the number of applications going forward?

I think this will certainly see an increase in application volumes for the MBA and MBAi programs - maybe more for the latter I believe, but without any solid basis for my hunch. A cynical part of me also feels that this is a great way to boost rankings

This test waiver is geared for individuals recently laid off in the tech industry and only applies to Round 2 applicants. Applications are due January 4 for Evening & Weekend and January 10 for Full-Time Programs.
