Any one here who has applied for 1 year Program ? Just want to check if all of us have recieved mails from current 1Y student to have a chat on Life and Career prospect at Kellogg.

Very interesting Nikhil, also interesting to note the contrast between 18-21 and 14-16 data.

Do you think post interview odds have climbed so much in the years between, or are other factors at play>

For Reference - 18-21 data referenced in Nikhils link

vs Old Data by Narenn

Notable Jumps for Kellogg from 37 - 51%?, Tuck 42-57%? Sloan 46-61%?

Most jumping about 10%

Darden/UCLA/HBS notably flat, but Johnson jumping to almost interview = acceptance

I did, They do this every year. I spoke to several of them last year too. They provide great insights!!

51% for kellogg is highly unlikely. They Interview almost everyone

True, this would put their acceptance rate at a little below 50%? That definitely doesn’t seem to be the case

Contrary to what people believe, Kellogg only ends up interviewing 85%ish people even now.

But 51% would still put it at 42% which is well above the roughly 26% admit rate P&Q estimates for Kellogg.

26/85, gives 31% closer to the old data estimate of 37%.

For those who had the option to schedule an interview - was your interview with adcom or a student? My interview is in less than 24 hours and I still don't know who I'll be interviewing with.

kakani did Kellogg send you an email about your match? Reviewed all the info again and it just says I'll receive the zoom link 3 hours before the interview. Maybe that's when I'll know about the match

Did the portal update for anyone post the interview? It still shows interview to be scheduled under Next Steps

The portal often doesn’t reflect the next steps accurately. I was told by adcom that it’s buggy

we can ignore that yesterday i dropped the mail to check the same as i have done my interview almost 1-2 weeks back but still the same status

i got the below reply from the admission team,

Thank you for reaching out. We can confirm that your interview was completed and that the required form has been submitted by your recommender. The application status page does not update after the interview is completed; no further action is required on your end.
