I applied in R1 with a GRE score. I took the GRE again a week back and got my official scores today. My overall score has remained the same but the split has changed in each section by +/-5. Should I send them the new score? Do they consider a super score for each section? Or can it backfire?
Do you think your new score’s split is better than the previous one? See which pair matches better with the school’s averages and go with that. As long as your score won’t pull down their averages you should be fine sending new scores.

My earlier score split was 157V, 170Q. The new score split is 162V, 165Q. The new score split is more balanced and closer to the school’s average. However, will losing the 170Q in the 2nd attempt showcase a weakness? Or should I still send the new score?

Definitely send the updated score. Your old score gives them confidence you can handle the quant aspects of the program, whilst your new score helps them keep their averages high. It's a win-win.

amazing! a small question - as an Indian who applied to the FTMBA with a 730 GMAT, are my chances slim (Ignoring the obvious fact that other parts of my application are equally important)

No clue boss! haha, I was well unsure of my own chances so absolutely floored that I got in myself. I think my profile was waaaay more relevant to the MMM than to the MBA, this is just to say that "The Story" is very important. The *why MBA* should make a lot of sense.

Yes, they sent me a form and post that, they asked me for proofs! My situation was a bit different I think, it was really that if I don’t get a decision, I’d have to forgo whatever came later. So maybe they were kind enough.

Although, just to note, they never did say they’ll be able to send me the decision. Just that if at all they can give me an early decision, they’d give it to me by a given date

Did they send you a form also? Just checking because they sent me a form to fill and I am wondering if they send that form to everyone or just some folks. Thanks :)

I applied for the full-time MBA program. Mid November, I received this email from Kellogg. Is this a ding or is it possible that they would offer admissions without an interview?

Thank you for your patience while awaiting an interview match for the Kellogg admissions process. Due to limited capacity at this time we are unable to schedule an interview. Consequently, we are waiving your interview so as not to delay the processing of your application.

Please note the interview is a single factor in your evaluation and is by no means the most important criterion for admission. We will contact you if further clarification on any aspect of your application is needed.

Hello jammerroy,

You must definitely send the updated, more balanced score; in any case they will also be able to see the previous score.

Thanks.
