Hey guys,

I'm in!! Admitted with 1 year GA Scholarship.

I applied 09/29 and got the admitted email yesterday 10/12. The Adcom committee is amazing.
It was a long path until here. Two years I dedicated my life to get into Krannert. For those who are struggling: be confident, be yourself, demonstrate WHY PURDUE in the most sincere way and everything will work out.

Hope to see you guys next year.

Hi, sure thing:

The interview itself was very fluid and relaxing (if only, haha) well, the interview is pretty basic and standard questions because they want to fell you, to know your thoughts and how you would fit in into krannert. The questions were:
Why Krannert? Why MBA? Describe me a time when you had to put your leadership skills to work.
What schools have you applied and why? And at the end, Do you have any questions for me? ( in this last one, BE SURE to not ask anything that you can find all over the internet, you must be original I think.

Hope this anwser your questions, all in all, the interview lasted 30 minutes and I really enjoyed.

About scholasrships, I don’t know about the diversity essay. I got a 1 year schoolarship with GA and I did not wrote the diversity essay.
About the interview questions I posted a reply yeasterday covering this part.

Hi solitatyreaper,

the transcripts that I sent were just a copy and past (regarding the frame/layout) and then I just translated the text to English, I used Adobe PDF Editor to do this. After you got accepted they require an official translation from a certified translator.

Admissions page shows something like this:

Essay Questions

For ease of review, please include the essay question as a 'title' above your response.

[Required] Statement of Purpose (500 words max): Please submit a statement introducing yourself to the Admissions Committee. Some topics you may wish to discuss include a brief academic and professional background, reason for seeking an MBA or Master’s degree at Purdue, desired career path after graduation and your thoughts on giving back as a student and as an alumnus.
Please note: The Diversity Fellowship Applicant Essay is not required for admission consideration to our programs. You are welcome to complete the Diversity Fellowship Essay should you feel you meet the specific criteria for the Fellowship award. This Fellowship is awarded through the Purdue University Graduate School independently from the Krannert School of Management admission process.

Full-Time MBA and Master's Programs

[Required] Integrity (500 words max): What does integrity mean to you? How does integrity relate to building communities of trust in academic, personal and professional settings? Hey everyone!
I am admitted to Purdue for FTMBA and I'm also offered admission at universities such as Rochester and Georgia.
I'm looking for advise about which has better prospects in terms of employment and ROI?

Additionally, University of Georgia has offered full scholarship and GA; University of Purdue has offered me GA (min. expenses towards the program) and University of Rochester would involve a significant investment.

My question is specifically to the admitted candidates. Did you guys write the optional essays. Does adcom give greater weight-age to candidates who go an extra mile by writing even the optional essays.

Guys !

I have another query. I'm about to apply to Krannert but I haven't sent my official scores of GMAT and TOEFL to Krannert yet. I'm targeting the R2 deadline (Jan 15th).
If I submit my unofficial scores (scanned copies of test reports ) now with the online application, will the adcom consider my application for R2 deadline?

Hello!

As far as I know they will only consider you for the adcom comitee once all the oficial reports are in. But you can check further with NIck Rambo (look for him on linkedin and shoot him a message).
But I think that we are pretty close to Christmas and I think they are already on their break.
