Writing? Not at all, nothing but chit chat about fairly common questions, walk through resume, why mba, why McD, etc... Got no curveballs whatsoever.

Great! Thanks for sharing the information. :)

I interviewed via Skype on the 15th of October.

I had many of the same questions you would face in a behavioral interview. The one that caught me up (and that you should plan for) was probably "talk to me about a recent article you read (about your career interest/passion)". I would definitely have something prepared for that since most other questions are usually pretty easily answered. I had luckily scoped through last year's thread and saw some instances where that question was asked and was prepared for it. I still had to adjust my answer because it was not asked in the same context which I was expecting.

Also, the interview focused quite a bit on the global experience that McDonough provides. I would think of any and all experience you have working with people of different cultures.

Hope this helped.

I would not give up hope at all. According to the ClearAdmit MBA LiveWire, there are still interview invitations going out. I am pretty sure that they will continue to go out up until the deadline.

I received a mail from admissions today asking to further explain a gap in work experience, although I had done so in my essay.

Has anybody received a similar mail?

Cheers

I received the exact same mail today. I replied them over mail explaining the reason. Atleast one thing is sure, they are still reviewing the round 1 apps.

Thanks DioAndy. Sounds quite cool may be a bit scary
How did it go for u?

It would be great if interviewed candidates shared similar curveballs/ oddities faced during thier interviews.
