Hey everybody,

I got an interview invite on 17th October. But today i got an email from Georgetown saying that my application status is available. When i logged in it is showing 'not ready for review'. I have submitted all the required documents.

Did anybody else get a mail like this?
Any suggestions what does it mean and what should i do now?

I did my interview on Skype yesterday. It was with Ms Lightbourne from Admission Committee. She started with the standard walk me through your resume/tell me about your professional career question. She then asked follow-up questions about what I learned from some particular changes in my life and profession. Why MBA? Why Now? Why Mcdonough? What is the biggest impact I have made within my organization? How do I motivate my team. It lasted about 23 minutes including questions that I had. Good luck to everyone. Hope this helps!

I finished mine yesterday!!
Straight forward questions tell me about yourself... why MBA? Goals... Leadership questions? Why McDonough?
The interviewer was a 2nd year students and at the start of the conversation she specified that she will ask her questions in 20 mins and the remaining 10 mins are for me to ask her my questions.
Whole thing lasted for a bit more than 30 mins.
Best of luck!!!

I had my interview yesterday with Ms. Gehre from AdCom.

the questions were straightforward as people have been said:

- walk me through your resume
- why McDonough
- What is your point of improvement
- Tell me about a situation in which you have been criticized
- post MBA goals

then I asked three questions. The interview went well, the only unusual thing was that she asked me to do an exercise in the end of it. It was mainly about write a cover letter to a job position (I had 10 minutes to do it, with her on the screen....) . I believe that they asked me to do it because I had a 4.0 AWA score in my first GMAT attempt and the new score is not available yet.

Does my reasoning about this request makes sense?

Good luck!

Hi, I had the similar situation, but when I entered on my application status, there was a missing document there.

If there isn't any message about a missing document, I think that the best way to deal with it is getting in touch with them > georgetownmba@georgetown.edu

I called them (i am in Brazil) to talk about my missing document and the person who I talked with was very gentle and proactive..

good luck
