Calling all NUS Singapore MBA Applicants: (2019 Intake) Class of 2021

Do we have to "pass" the preliminary interview to get called for another round of interview?

The same thing happened with me. Did you contact them? Did they reschedule it for you? I am planning to call them tomorrow.

I received an email today for interview that is scheduled on 21st Feb. The link where I had to select my interview slot said that interview will happen in Singapore time and all the time slots shown below are in Asia/Kolkata time.

I'm confused. What does it mean? I emailed them with the question but no reply yet.

I selected a slot of 12:30-12:45, is it Singapore time or India time?

Anyone with answer??

When you open a calendar, your computer by default shows IST. Can you show a screenshot just to be sure?.

I got offer from NUS but it doesn't mention scholarship. Does the offer really not mention scholarship?

They responded to my mail that all slots for February are full. They'll schedule one for me in March.

I cannot reach out to them by any means. What time did you call? Please share any pointers about how to get them to answer your call! :D

Just finished with my preliminary interview. It lasted for 14 mins exactly. Quite friendly and conversation-based.

The interviewer made it clear in the beginning that she will not be taking any questions in this round.

Questions in chronology:

1. 1 min elevator pitch
2. Why MBA? Why NUS? Why Singapore (All included in one question).
3. Preferred destinations for jobs.
4. Alternate destinations if you don't land a job in your preferred destination. Had some follow up discussions on China and Europe.
5. One current affair outside Asia (Made clear to not include Modi ).
6. How would you prepare differently for the next interview if you make it to the next round?

I asked for some feedback in the end. She said she was alright with everything

Hi guys,

I submitted my NUS application on 29th January [First round], and am awaiting results. The application status on my portal shows "Application Processing" since I submitted.

Is it safe to assume that I've not been shortlisted or is there still time/hope?

Got an invite for preliminary assessment interview on 12th March 2019. Any pointers from people who've been through this??

What happens after this interview?

I applied to NUS in 30th January deadline. I haven't received any updates from NUS yet. Is there any point of waiting?
