Hi Guys,

How much is deposit again? I was recently admitted and, assuming it isn't too too much, may try to hedge my bets as I hear back from a few other programs. On Owen's website I can only find deadline (January 3rd) but not amount.

Congrats guys. My interview was a genuinely pleasant experience. From the administrative assistant to my actual interviewer, everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. Congrats on getting in!!! Vanderbilt is my top choice and I have definitely experienced the friendliness you've mentioned. I went to a local coffee chat with a current Owen student and she's been super helpful and has been rooting for me to get in. How long did it take for you to get an interview invite after you applied? I'm super nervous that I might not even get an interview. Also, any word on scholarship money?

Thank you! My interview invite came exactly a week after the submission deadline. I was also told my scholarship situation with the official admit call from my interviewer on the decision date. As you can, my academics are below the average and scraping the bottom end of the spectrum so I'm retaking the GMAT in a few weeks to try and land some financial assistance.

Awesome! good luck on the GMAT retake. I'm super glad to hear that Vanderbilt doesn't just look at your academics, but your whole profile. I am right in the middle of their GPA and GMAT (3.37/680) but I think I have decent work experience and great extras.

Congratulations! I'm on the lower end of GRE/GMAT so hopefully my stronger areas get more attention. Can you still get more financial assistance even after they gave you official admission + scholarship? I thought that what they offer you at first is final and non-negotiable.

Often times, i've heard the schools will offer more assistance if you can improve on your GMAT since it helps their rankings.
