Hi! As far as I remember, your weakest point was your GMAT/GRE score. It is a compelling factor that Rotman takes seriously when it comes to awarding scholarships.

Try your best to receive admits with a scholarship from different schools, share them with Rotman. You need to show Rotman that you sincerely want Rotman, but you have options, as well. This way, you will get at least 5K CAD.

Hello everyone,

I wish all the Rotman applicants good luck with their process, and congratulations to all who got admitted already!

I submitted my application on 11th of Jan, and the video responses on 16th of Jan. So my application should be complete. However I have not heard back yet anything either positive or negative.

Do you think it is normal (more than 3 weeks since submission) or should I get stressed about potentially having missed something in the application? How long did it take for you to get the first response, either an invitation for interview or even rejection?

You're coming to Ivey 2022 intake? Just curious! dupuis2304

As far as I know, you can be pretty honest and say "I'd love to go, this is my favorite option, but I'm still figuring out the financials and a better scholarship would really help me out. Can this be reviewed?" and they take it to the admissions panel to check it out. If you or your friend have received a better scholarship at another school, mention it and that should help, otherwise, I wouldn't lie about it to them, it's always possible they'll find out and rescind your acceptance.

Make sure they understand how excited you are about Rotman, they love that... When I mentioned I'm going for another school, they offered to review the scholarship (I had received $20,000). I said no thanks because I had pretty much made up my mind by time, but I wanted to say yes to see how far that would go...
