Received an email from Oxford last week that they have received my application, and will get back to before close of the next week. So let's see what the next steps are.

They further mentioned that they would release the shortlist after 25th Jan. I would advise everyone to relax till then.

I had also received a similar email recently stating that they will get back to me with decision by 27th January.

So they will probably release the decisions in batches.

Does anyone know if there is any significant advantage to conducting the interview in person rather than via Skype?

No advantage whatsoever..you should focus on doing ur interview well irrespective of the medium.cheers!!

Hello guys

Do you have any Idea what impact it will have if applied at a later deadline?
Is it like the at later deadlines the number of seats to be filled is very less. Hence that will impact the chances of admit heavily?

I have 7 years exp & a GMAT of 690 Q 50 V 33 IR 6 AWA 5
I am planning to retake GMAT by Mar end & apply to Judge, Said & LSB with 720/730+ (hopefully)

SAID has a deadline on Mar 17 & the next deadline is on May 5.
Mar 15 with 690 or May 5 with 720/730. (which one is wiser?)

yep, that's my read of it as well - most, if not all early decisions have been for US based applicants. (source: Clear admit livewire)
