Working on my essays. Will try to finish everything before 15th.
Read on their website, that Simon accepts rolling admissions.I guess it will be rolling after all the deadlines are over. Not sure though.
Does it mean that if am able to submit around the 15th -17th/18th they will be taken as part of 2nd round.

The website talks about criteria for fee waivers, and I saw that I fall into one of those criteria.Should I have to send them a separate email for that, or will it be waived during submission, as happens with a few schools.

Would be very helpful if I can get answers to those questions before the 15th.

-DebWenger
Hi Debwenger,
It depends on what criteria you are fulfilling for fee waiver. If you have attended any on-campus or off-campus even then you not need to send separate email. But if you are fulfilling any other criteria then you have to send them an email, but send atleast 5-6 days before the deadline.
Hope it helps.

Wow! That was fast. I'm submitting my application tonight. I look forward to hearing how everyone does.

Out of curiosity, did you complete a application consultation before submitting your application? If so, what was the outcome? (if you don't mind my asking)

Hello David!

I did not complete an application consultation. You are right, the whole thing went so fast, I heard back in just 3-4 days after submitting the application!

Best of luck!

FROM Simon (Rochester) Admissions Blog: Fall Fun in Rochester
The following blog post was written by Isaac Goodling, 2016 MBA Candidate If you know someone from Upstate New York, there is a good chance that you have heard them refer to the pleasure of having “all four seasons.” While this is admittedly a bit clichéd, it does not make it any less true – […]

dwartenb89 kheown guys do share your experience post interview. We would love to hear from you guys or anyone else who have had an interview or has scheduled an interview.

Hello!

Mine was a very conversational 30-minute blind interview (my interviewer had only read my resume). Some of the questions that were asked:

Tell me about yourself
Why MBA
Why Simon
ST & LT goals
What can you contribute to Simon
What role do you play in a team
Cross-cultural/international experience
What skills or personal development are you looking for through the MBA at Simon
Do you have any questions for me?

If you are interviewing over Skype, make sure you initiate the video call at the scheduled time.

Good luck to the rest of you! :)

Now the waiting begins...

Just wanted to drop a quick note as I was interviewed today.

My interviewer only had seen my resume, and even that probably not more than for a minute or two prior. Very friendly interviewer. Some main questions I recall:

Started off with: Walk me through your Resume

Why Simon?
What separates you and makes you better than anyone else applying?
What will the determining factor(s) be if you are offered acceptance letters from all of your schools?
How have lead in a group and what style would you say your leadership was?
What is most important to you when choosing schools to apply to?
How do you define success? Or, what would make you feel like you had a successful career after looking back on it?

I had a few more questions that I can't remember at the moment, but the interview as a whole was very relaxed.
