February 28, I'd say. Some invites may come after, but I think the 28th is a good point to start viewing SOM as a ding.

For Indian applicants interviewing in Delhi in the week of 26th Feb, has anyone received the venue yet?

I know that R1 interviews were held in JW Marriott near Aerocity. Do interview venues for rounds in the same city usually remain the same?

Decision tracker will tell you everything. They way it is designed, when you adjust its filters, it will tell you acceptance/interview rates by location, GMAT, Industry, GPA, etc.

If look at R1 trends, there were 243 applicants from all over the world in R1 of which 61 have been admitted, with acceptance rate of 25%, which is slightly higher than last 3 years' average acceptance rate of 24%. Our historical data of last 3 years also tells us that R2 acceptance rates have been greater than R1 acceptance rates for 2014 and 2016 intakes. For 2015 intake, however, the R1 acceptance rate was greater than R2 acceptance rate.


To answer your question regarding Indian applicants, this year there were 33 applicants who showed their location as India on Decision tracker in R1 of which 7 have been accepted. In R2 there are 23 applicants in R2 of which only 1 applicant has so far reported interview invite from Yale.

I will again request everyone to add Yale's program on your forum profile and keep updating your application status as you progress through the application process so that we can put more accurate picture of admission trends in front of current and future applicants.

Got an interview invite this morning--I was expecting a ding too so beyond ecstatic right now. Options were to do on-campus on 02/28, 03/01, or 03/02 or off-campus in LA on 03/08. I submitted on 01/10 and completed video essay on 01/17. Hope this helps the folks still waiting!

I am yet to receive my interview venue details for my interview on 27th Feb at 2pm in Delhi. Any R2 Delhi interviewees can shed light on venue details?

I know the mail says 48 hours prior to the interview I would receive a mail, but I have only a couple of hours left before that. Do they send out the mail exactly 48 hours prior?

Any details on R2 Delhi venue details would be much appreciated.
