No, It won’t ask you to pay for you to submit the application. Once you submit, there is a mystatus site link which will be shared, over there it shows application fee payment as pending task. Don’t pay, wait for 5-10 days after you submit and they will waive the fee
It you pay, they can’t refund the fee to you, even if you have a fee waiver, so don’t pay!
Guys, is there no space at all in the application to put out short-term long-term goals? This is what their admissions blog says: “We will learn a lot about your professional background through your resume and letter of recommendation.” The admissions committee already read your resume, letter of recommendation, education history, and goals.

Yes, that is correct. Essay 2 is what they ask for your personal and professional goals at McCombs.
Also, re-applicants please note that the "re-applicant essay" is hidden inside the 'education' section of the app.
Guys are you focusing a lot on the production quality for the video essay? I'm getting really nervous looking at some of the videos on YouTube. Although, the admissions team said that this essay has low weightage in the entire process and they broadly care only about the long essay, would still like to know how are you approaching this one?
App fee waiver will be applied 5-10 days of submitting app. Does this mean that we need to submit our apps well 5-10 days before the R1 deadline? Anyone who has any clarity?

Great production quality is not a necessity. Just make sure your background is neat, preferably with no background noise or distractions. All that matters is how and what you convey about yourself. McCombs is focused on the content more than the format.
