Hello all , I am planning to apply for the part time program in McCombs, Is it good in terms of career progression post MBA? I am 10 years experienced in telecom and not planning to switch industry post MBA just want to move to Product Management/Strategy in a good tech company.

I suggest attending the part-time McCombs webinar to better understand your fit for part time

Gentlemen recall Oct 12 is the R1 deadline. Ensure to dot your i’s and cross your t’s. For your video essays, record it standing up; if you are going for that option in essay one. It adds a bit of personality flair to the video. Seating behind a table makes you appear dull, like a grandpa sitting on chair type vibe.

Indian applicant here - Can someone explain what should be filled in the Educational Information section for High School/GED Record.

Did you graduate with a GED? Should this be a Yes or No?
From what I understand GED equivalent is 12th standard in India.

I’m planning for a video essay but definitely not spending time in production quality or locations etc. Admissions and student ambassadors say there is no secret weightage at all, just whatever you feel comfortable in

I saw some videos on Youtube of Mccombs Intro and all seemed quite fancy, I was thinking to simply record myself in my work room.

Ya ya I’m gonna do the same. There’s no point in spending additional time on editing effects or cinematography. I think content is the king at the end of the day :)
Plus yeah for a video essay couple that up with good oration skills

I suggest you guys partake in the video essay. That way the adcom can place a face to you application. But like i said yesterday stand up whilst implementing your video essay.
