Hello guys. I've booked my gmat slot for 6th December 2019. I wanted to ask you guys if I'd be able to get into a decent mba executive or full time 2 years programme if I have an average score say 610-650. I have been working in an NGO for 1.5 years. I did my graduation in Physics hons from St. Stephen's College, New Delhi.
Also, since I'm from India, do I need to give IELTS as well? If so, then when is the appropriate time to give the test and hope to get admission in 2020.

You're ultimately asking Admissions questions, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

The more specific you can be with the details, the easier it will be for the Admissions Experts to properly answer your questions. If you're not sure which Schools you want to apply to yet - and you don't have an Official GMAT Score yet - then there might be a limit to what those Experts can tell you though.

getting a very high GMAT score increases the chances of your dream college.

It depends on the schools and regions you target. One thing to be cleared here is with a bandwidth of 610-650 GMAT score you cannot target top tier schools, but not to worry you still good chances for decent schools if you try to add 20+ points on your targeted scores. You can try our B school selector tool to check your chances for schools to fit your current profile.

ILETS can be skipped if your medium of teaching is English and the same should be stated by your university/college on your transcripts.
