Hi there, I purchased the
e-gmat verbal package last month and I am trying to finish off the concepts and applications as much as I can so that I can begin practicing questions. Each file is almost an hour long. I am not sure if I am utilizing it the correct way - Anyone who bought the package - how are you studying - do you just skim it or listen till the end? how much time does it take for you to finish a SC or a CR or RC from the package and how do you factor the time in the overall study plan of 3 months?
Any guidance for a better studying strategy will be very helpful. thanks
Hi sup23,
Welcome to GMATCLUB! I had subscribed to
e-gmat Verbal live course and it took me around 2.5 months to complete their verbal course. I agree that their videos are a bit longer, however there is a lot to be learnt in every video, so please do not skip anything for the sake of clarity of the topic. I recommend that you first complete the master comprehension and then begin with SC course followed by CR and then RC to get the most out of the lessons. If you dedicate around 3.5 hours per day you may be able to complete the entire course in 2.5-3 months. Also after every completing each section (SC, C and RC), make sure to take an individual ability quiz to test your current skill level. Only after you complete the entire course, should you take an entire Verbal ability quiz and it is indeed a phenominal tool to measure your current skill level.
Hope this helps. All the best!
