Hi all, so I took GMAT quite a while ago and scored 720, AWA 6, which was an average score but I kept it and send the scores to 5 schools for free. However, with time I realized that I am not good at taking GMAT and took the GRE a week ago and got a score of 333, which is considerably better than a 720 in GMAT. Now I am in a dilemma, because, Wharton, one of the schools I'm applying to and had sent my old GMAT scores to, asks whether I have taken GMAT and/or GRE in the application form. What should my response be in this case? Should I just send both the GMAT and GRE scores? I'm concerned if I reply "No" to the GMAT question, they might ultimately find out that I had taken GMAT and sent them the GMAT scores? Will a GMAT 720 hurt my chances even though I scored better in GRE?
Thanks in advance for your response!
Hi
rex199124,
Schools will always consider the higher score so you need not worry about the GMAT at all. Besides, a 720 is not a bad score either. You may also submit your GRE score to the school as it will prove to be advantageous.
Thanks.
All the best!
