Hello everyone. I just wanted to thank everyone in this forum for the input you put in enabling learners to grasp concepts. So I did my second attempt today and I was able to score 620( Q44, V32). It might not be a huge score as we are accustomed to in this forum but it was impressive for me. In the first attempt I had 430(q31, V19). The dismal initial score might have been contributed by the anxiety I felt when taking the exam but I guess I was also not prepared. My main key take away is that Reading Comprehension is really important for one to do well in verbal. I had overlooked the section up to the last 3 weeks before my exam. After doing Prep 3, I realized that I had a serious problem in RC. On my second test, I decided to read slowly and jolt down notes while reading. My score improved. I executed this today and it helped although I had to guess the last 7 questions. My English is near-native level but I am a slow reader. So I had to make a sacrifice. For Quant, I did all the
GMAT club tests. I also had to guess the last 6 questions in Quant due to time constraints. Had I not wasted time from question 15-20, I believe my score would have been higher. So I encourage the guys who are struggling to get a decent score-550-690- not to lose hope. It's possible. Special thanks to GMAT Ninja and Bunuel. Thank You all.
