Please join me in welcoming
generis as the new SC Forum Co-Moderator assisting
Vyshak and
hazelnut.
Many of you may know Generis from the Quant forums. With over 1,200 posts and 450+ kudos, and a J.D. degree Harvard Law School, Generis makes a fantastic candidate for the SC forum moderator - to assist with grammar questions and to promote GMAT Club community rules.
Thank you and please take a minute to say hi to Generis!
Congrats Generis !
btw what does this nickname mean ?
I googled and it says " A person or thing that is unique, in a class by itself "
wow
I wouldn't mind Generis to be both SC and Quant section moderator:)
dave13 , thanks!
The name, you ask?
(Your ebullience will take you far, I think.)
I promise, I try really hard to avoid being an egomaniac!
I confess, it's a bit of mischief.
In Anglo-American law,
sui generis often means "falling outside the traditional [precedent, e.g.]" or "peculiar."
"Peculiar"? Ambiguous, much?
