The argument says that the primary reason why sales and pre-orders will increase is that ECs will become more affordable, i.e the prices will go down.
Look at the options:
A. Doesnt have to be true for the arguement to stay. It is not attacking the link between affordability and sales.
B. Performance is an altogether different aspect that the argument is not talking about. Thus not relating to the argument's link
C. City dwellers- urban- are primarily motivated by cost savings. Bang on! Fills in the gap in the argument perfectly!
D. Doesnt have to be true. The argument is not talking about gasoline and its cost, nor is concerned with it.
E. The arguemnt is not concerned about the production. Not the logical link, thus out.
