I did my exam last Sunday (11 Oct) and until know the status in my Account is still "Pending". is this the case for you as well?

I did mine on 10th October. Hopefully things go right; definitely tough to wait for the scores.

What is 710 in your signature? Was it first attempt?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the GMAT Online retake is most definitely not free––in fact, it now costs $250 instead of $200.

Good luck,

Hi!

I wanted to give the GMAT Online in the last week of October, but it seems that there are no slots available for the entire week. Slots are available in the week before and in the week after. Any particular reason for this?

Login to the portal approx 30-40 mins before the scheduled time and the status of the option corresponding to starting the test would have changed. Choose that option and the instructions will follow, asking you to download an app, through which you will have to submit photos of your room, from where you'll be attempting the test, and of your passport for verification.
The proctor will release the test once those photos have been submitted and verified, you can also chat with the proctor in case you have any query.
All the best for your exam

Visit your Online GMAT appointment, and you'll see a link for running a system test, use that and verify your system, secondly for the background apps, you can check the instructions on your exam appointment page. Ideally, no application other than the GMAT exam is supposed to be active during the test.

I took my GMAT online exam today. I was doing well but halfway through quant the app crashed and shut down. I was not able to re start the exam. I raised the issue and they said that they will look into it. Did anyone else experience something similar ?

Hi there!

I had similar experience. The system crushed twice, once it was restored , second time no. My exam was voided as I could not complete the test yet I still got the score and voucher for next test. They will reach out to you with decision , probably within 5 business days. Stay positive and best of luck!

Hi,

Can you please elaborate a little? Where did you take the test from and when did the app close all of a sudden? And if you didn’t complete the test, how did you receive a score ?

Thank you.

Thank you.

I took it at home, do you want the country? First time the system failed during the exam but it was quickly restored, yet the clock was still ticking and I was not compensated for it. Second time the system failed and I had to wait for about 50 mins for proctors, and once they got back to me (I already checked my phone to see if I was called) they tried to restore, I said about phone, and proctor got suspicios like "why did you even stand up", I explained that I waited for so long and no one was there to help me and thus I rushed to check my phone in case proctors called me. He understood and accepted my point and tried his best to restore but their software had a glitch or something and would not reconnect. So my exam was voided. How come I still got a score? You tell me. I asked GMAC but they said and I quote "that score does not matter" how come it does not matter if it appears on my profile and IS reportable only god knows. Nevertheless, the GMAC did issue me a coupon.

Hi there,

I have my online GMAT scheduled in 2 days. In-order to beat the issues from power cuts and internet glitches, I have planned to give my test from office. I have already run the recommended system test and things seems to be working. Apart from this I have also given the GMAT official test Prep Exam where things seem to work normal. I would like to get some hints and recommendations if any one tried similar approach and faced any difficulties?

Thank you
