Have suggested Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for SC and CR to students. Working with a study buddy with strong Verbal skills may also be worth considering. Probably fair to say your Verbal scores are fluctuating. May be worth seeing if there were particular types of questions that affect your performance.

Hi GautamKhanduja,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned. When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though - as well as the data in your ESR - it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used (and did you take the two 2 free Official CATs?)?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi EMPOWERgmatRichC
I have been studying since March and took my first GMAT in early May in which I got a score of 640 V28 Q48

Then I started prepping again in June and studied for about 3 hours each day, I attempted all the official CATs and have shared the scores in the original post.

However, I took the test in early August and got 640 V28 Q48.

I have used Jamboree study material, official guides, and Official Mocks
.
My Target score is 730.
