If it takes Patrick 4 hours to paint a room, how long did it take Patrick and Roger working together?

(1) Roger started painting the room at 12 noon.
(2) It takes Roger 3 hours to paint the room.

Given. Patrick rate
In work rate problems: Combined rate=sum of individual rates

statement 1. We have no information about the time taken by Roger to paint a room.
Statement 2. Roger rate and Patrick rate. Sufficient

Hence, Ans is: B
