and S+R+T = 180

We know S = 90

Hence, the above equations we get T = 40

In ∆ RST, angle S is a right angle and angle R is 10° greater than angle T. What is the measure of angle T?

(A) 40°
(B) 45°
(C) 50°
(D) 55°
(E) 80°

1. The remaining angles should be 90 degree.
2. So, R + T should be 90 degree.
3. Since R = 10 + T, so (10+T) + T = 90, thus T = 40 (and R is 50).
