Here are three points of check to get the correct answer

Equation of line m is y = x because the slope of m is 1 using points (0,0) and (5,5) and y-intercept is 0 as line passes through origin

Also, any point above the line y=x will have its y co-ordinate greater than its x co-ordinate

and the point must be in 1st Quadrant to be in triangle OAB hence both x and y co-ordinates must be positive

I think A.
E,C Rejected because they have 6. coordinates with abscissa or ordinate as 6 cant be inside a triangle with (0,0),(0,5) and (5,5) coordinates.
B rejected because it has a negative abscissa.
D, I think will land just outside the Hypotenuse.
Waiting for the OA.

Hi utkarsh KOhli,

You are absolutely correct.. OA has to be A..
1) Since the coordinates are (0,0); (0,5); and (5,5)
Anything above 5 in each is out C and E out
2) Quadrant I means both x and y POSITIVE
Eliminate B
3) A mere look at graph and position of triangle will tell you..
For every x as 0, y can be 0 to 5 and similarly for other values of x..
So y>x
Eliminate (4,2) D

Only A possible

(C) can't be the answer because the y-coordinate is > 5, meaning the point would be outside triangle OAB.
