Hi
abdurgikiWoww! This feature is brilliant and has made the chatroom much more accessible and user-friendly.
I used to have GMATClub open in two tabs, one for chat and the other for searching and reading topics. I don't have to do this anymore.
Furthermore, I was slightly late in responding to messages because I was busy in another GMATClub tab at the time when messages were already pouring in. I used to avoid giving my opinion (which I thought would have helped others) in school chatrooms because the context had already moved due to the time it took me to see the messages.
Excellent problem to solve!
Suggestions:
1. A larger font size for the school's name in the chat window would make it easier to find when multiple chats are open.
2. In addition to point 1, it would be preferable if the school logo could be seen at the top of the chat window. (Even the school's chat window button would be better with the logo rather than just the text.)
3. It would also be preferable if only one school chat could be opened for messaging and viewing, rather than multiple (as it is now) - because when I tried to open five school chats, they all opened. However, due to the size of my screen, I can only see four chat windows at once.
- In this scenario, the user would be looking for the fifth window and may overlook the fact that it is open and that he is missing out on a great conversation.
