For RC my strategy was:

Read the full passage in one go but not too fast. As I read, I made mental notes about following:

1. What is this passage actually wants to TELL me?
2. What did the first para just told me?
3. What is the purpose of first, second and last para? To reconfirm I kind of re glanced first and last para quickly to get a gyst about what the whole passage is about.
4. How the story is built in the passage? What are the contrast points, supporting points, background, examples of a theory, negatives of a theory, whetheer two theories are discussed? or one theory is liked by author and substantiated more?

In brief you need to have a mental picture( i did not find actual summary strategy beneficial). Then you need to know what kind of questions can come. These are:

1. Main point or purpose of paragraph.
2. Purpose of first or second paragraph
3. Purpose of an example or some portion of text in author;s overall structure.
4. Structure of the passage ( e.g. a theory is discussed and its shortcomings are described, or two theories are discussed and one is supported by examples etc.)
5. "According to the passage" types questions.
6. What can be inferred from the passage or what does the "specific part" of the passage suggests?

For all these questions you need to understand what is the purpose of asking that question? What is ACTUALLY asked. You first need to get this crystal clear in your head and then check out choices.

If above thing is clear in your head, you will not find much difficulty in RC. Moreover, solve OG questions. Find why are you getting them wrong. Observe your thought process behind your wrong answers as well as right answers. Did you get the right answer for right reason? Wrong answer analysis will tell you what change you need in your thinking and right answer analysis consolidate your concepts and strategy ...as well as increase your self belief as you will be working on ACTUAL GMAT questions.

Apart from this I suggest, you need to see if you face any problem in reading. Some people just have not read enough so the time there is something dense to read , the mind switches off or mind gets really heavy. You have to get in habit of reading if you not doing it already. If you already read books or novels, pick out a dense one. I suggest read "The Black Swan" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb or any tough novel. Go slow first, understand why the WAY you read does not give you information right at first try. After that start focusing and get into the present moment and be conscious when you are reading.

You need to do "slow down" activity for OG questions as well. Do not time yourself first. Observe ur thought process and then start timing or increasing ur pace when your accuracy gets high.

Also, knowing what is important in a passage and what can be read later in detail when the question demands, can help you save time. Time saved is time gained and accuracy gained. Hence better score.

Hope this helps.

Your reply is over expected for me. Thanks so much my friend. Hope you can join the school you want with scholarship
Ps: i have ẽam pack 1 already.

Apart from tips I explained in my original post, Explaining my RC Strategy here.

2. What did the first para just told me?

If you already read books or novels, pick out an easy one first then a dense one. I suggest read "Outliers" frm Malcom Gladwell first and then "The Black Swan" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb( this is very tough to comprehend book) or any tough novel. Go slow first, understand why the WAY you read does not give you information right at first try. After that start focusing and get into the present moment and be conscious when you are reading.

Hi,
Congratulations on the great score. :)
For quant, did you only practice from Manhattan guides? Could you elaborate on the materials you used for quant? My scores are consistently dropping in Quant, and i have studied from all the manhattan books. I dont know how to go about it now.
