What are Kudos? Kudos are a reflection of quality of contributions at GMATClub as perceived by GMATClub members. Kudos can be awarded by anyone to anyone and are used to show appreciation, gratitude, or indication of value. Kudos are awarded to both a post and a poster. (You must be logged in to see/give kudos) What can I use Kudos for? You can use Kudos to find the best posts on GMAT Club - we publish lists of the posts with most Kudos here: Top Forum Posts . Dear GmatClub Moderators,

I take great pain to inform you that my previous account(User ID- gmt1) has been deactivated and when I tried to reactivate it, this information showed up:

"Your account has been manually deactivated and is only able to be reactivated by an administrator.".

I have spent enough of my time posting stuffs and views to earn 'Kudos' apart form utilizing the resource. I earned 25 kudos by yesterday (9 june 2015) and unlocked the tests for 3 months.
And now this IS NOT funny that you have 'Manually' deactivated my account. I have not invested my valuable time and effort only to get such nonsensical message from your forum.
I would request you to check the issues and reactivate my account. (Hope this post will not be deleted; or, this profile,too, will not face deactivation!!!!)

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Thank you for your message. All moderator decisions are final and Kudos removal cannot be reversed.

We have noticed a substantial amount of Kudos inflation in about 10 accounts acting as a ring providing Kudos for each other - that is against our principles and rules. Getting a series of 5 Kudos from 4 users in a row in a few days would be a clear indication of that. Though usually we are quite generous, we have removed over 200 illegitimate kudos yesterday. Something we have not done before and we will continue to do this for anyone considering the easy path.

Thanks a lot for your reply BB.. But, I can assure you that, I have done nothing sort of cheating/inflating or any other stuffs to illegitimately achieve kudos. I would earnestly request you to spare some of your valuable time to go through my actions/postings/kudos (i.e. those from user ID gmt1) and let me know where I went against your rules/policies so as to face such deactivation.
I very well understand what you said about the supremacy of the moderator decisions, but still your response will certainly help many people like me avoid wasting their precious time in future in your forum. Hope you will consider my request and point out where I went wrong(specifically i.e.)

Everything works correctly. Sometimes Java Script in the browser gets confused and is not able to refresh properly. Don't be alarmed, however, the Kudos that have been awareded, are going to get to their final destination.

Think of it as an endless money printing.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing such a good post. However just curious apart from Gmat club test does kudos give you access to certain questions as well (imp , latest and good questions ) . Read it in someone's post. Would appreciate your help.
