What are Kudos? Kudos are a reflection of quality of contributions at GMATClub as perceived by GMATClub members. Kudos can be awarded by anyone to anyone and are used to show appreciation, gratitude, or indication of value. Kudos are awarded to both a post and a poster. (You must be logged in to see/give kudos) What can I use Kudos for? You can use Kudos to find the best posts on GMAT Club - we publish lists of the posts with most Kudos here: Top Forum Posts . You can also Sort by Kudos in each forum and find the highest ranked discussions or even highest ranked posts within each thread (they are highlighted by green and yellow colors) You can also give Kudos to others - when you click a +1 button to award Kudos, the receiver gets a notification about your award. It works much better than posting a short line saying "Thanks" You can use Kudos to get access to the GMAT Club tests . If you have 25 kudos, you can get full access to the gmat club tests for 3 months. You can add schools and fill out your GMAT Club profile and that will net you 5 Kudos right away. There are 2 ways to see this information: 1) Click on the Kudos tab in My Profile area 2) Go to this URL: https://gmatclub.com/static/kudos-details/ and type in your username 2015-03-16_2134.png - Kudos are collected when somebody clicks +1 button. If you benefit from somebody's post, do click +1, which will increase that score, both for the user and for the post. - Only positive Kudos can be given. - You can give only one Kudos point to a single post. After you give that point, there is no way to withdraw it or award another one. I received a kudos today and the count became from 11 to 10.
Then i closely saw it an realized that i have -10 kudos

What can be the reason for that?

Can somebody please answer this

This is due to deleting kudos that were awarded by a member who has been deactivated, AFTER you redeemed them for a GMAT Club subscription.
Or in case of Kudos inflation, when those kudos would be removed, again after you do a redemption for GMAT Club tests.

Got it bb, at this point of time, i do not have the access to my subscription of GMAT Club tests and i have -8 kudos.
This means that i will get the subscription reactivated when i reach 0 kudos? Am i right?

This is my 5th post regarding the same issue ... i have the required number of kudos and have redeemed them for the tests, still i do not have the access

In order to receive 100 kudos on a post, 100 different users must feel its kudo worthy... Due to the number of users who felt his post helped them in their gmat prep, Chineseburn's post (the first in that thread) received more than 650 kudos over the past 5.5 years.

You do not receive 100 kudos automatically when creating a helpful post in that thread. Sorry for the confusion, but thank you for your contribution.

(on a side note, great avatar +1 from me for that)

Why my kudos point reduce?

I have not taken any gmatclub exams, but still then why my kudos becomes 0 every now and then.
Pleas explain.

The only 2 reasons Kudos would go away is if the user who has given them was deleted or if the Kudos were given from another user with questionable intentions; in that case the kudos are removed.
