A question for those of you who applied. When I emailed them about mailing my final transcripts, I was left with the impression that we only had to send in hard copies if we were admitted, not for during the application cycle. Was that wrong?
I continue to be unimpressed by USC's admissions team. If I did actually need to submit transcripts in order to be eligible for an interview, I'm surprised I didn't get an email about my missing materials.

I was a bit confused as well so I sent my transcript to them anyway (fortunately a free service from my undergraduate institution). If it makes you feel any better, someone way back said that the transcript will only really be required upon an admit, i.e. the way everyone else does it: marshall-usc-class-of-2016-calling-all-applicants-151346.html?#p1282755

It depends on your future career aspirations and how much financially you can support yourself... Tepper would be a wise choice, but if consulting is your career aspiration, I would go for NYU Stern

I sent them in this morning just in case.
Man there sure are a lot of conflicts on their website - on the application it said two letters of recommendation but on their main page it asks for only one.
There's a totally lack of clearness on the transcript issue, and they are poor at responding to emails.

Got an R2 interview note today, and scheduled it for tomorrow.
Hi, I too had received an interview invite today morning, but I was asked to share 3 preferred interview date and time with the committee. Did you receive a similar mail or did you get access to some portal that allowed you to choose an interview date and time?

She just asked me if I was free on 27. Nothing much apart from the usual.

Sure. Will do! You do too!
All the best to you too. When is yours scheduled?
Sure man!
Well I have shared my 3 preferred date and time with the committee. I am waiting to hear back from them - the very reason I asked you when you mentioned that you were asked about your availability on a specific date.

For the network and prestige, Stern is best from your list. You have already committed so much for business school, why try to save a maybe $70000 and enter a school with less opportunity. You still have 20-30 years of career in front of you, do what's best for the future. That's just my opinion.

Hi mittal,
Congratulations!
Could you update your GMAT score and profile so that we have a better idea why you got these great scholarships in the first place!
Couple of criteria that you could also check the schools for, which will help you make the decision : 1. Batch size - whether you are comfortable with large or small 2. Location - Whether you would like an urban location or a location away from city, connectivity and public modes of transport available etc. 3. Average salary - I think it is the most important criteria, and I would check it in my specialization of interest 4. Pedagogy - Different schools have different pedagogy
I would suggest Tepper with 50% is a good deal if money matters to you. Else, go for Stern.
