When can we expect to hear about our acceptance or declination? Will they inform R1 waitlisters at the same time as they inform the R2 applicants, March 26th? Or might we have to wait into the summer?

I am waitlisted after an interview in Round 2. So when should I expect to hear back from Adcom and what are the odds of this waitlist getting converted to an admit?

Hi all,
I just got into another school that I really like. I'm withdrawing my application, and give up my spot for other waitlisters.
Good luck everyone! :)

Hi folks

I was waitlisted after applying in Round 1. I heard back from my interviewer yesterday asking a few form questions (shared below) and that I reply the same day to express my interest in the program. I responded after which he asked me for a skype call for some follow up questions. Not sure what the agenda for the call is going to be. Does anyone have any tips? What information I can prepare or have ready to cement my chances of getting that elusive "in"?

I was asked the following four questions, and asked to respond the same day (which had already come to an end in India btw!)

1. Are you still interested in attending the Texas MBA program? If so, where on your list of preferred schools does the Texas MBA fall?
2. Do you have any offers from other schools? If so, which schools are they and have they offered you any scholarships?
3. Please briefly clarify your career goals. Do you have a back-up plan?
4. Would you be able to arrive Austin by late July in order to attend mandatory Orientation, which begins on Monday, August 3rd?

Hey,

I got the same email myself this morning. So how did the call go?

Ladies and gents who got accepted off the waitlist for UT,

Do you think there was something you did during the time when you were on the waitlist that increased your chances of admission? I am waitlisted too and would love to hear the experiences of those who got admitted following being waitlisted.
