I've written 3 mocks in the past 2 weeks and have got a decent score in all of them. Details are mentioned below:
Kaplan diagnostic - 680 (Q49 V34)
Gmatpill - 720 (Q51 V38) - Verbal inflated because of familiar questions
Kaplan CAT 3 - 700 (Q50 V36)
GMAT Prep 1 - 710 (Q50 V36)
I have been preparing for 2 months now and I'm planning to write my GMAT in next 15-20 days. though I've analysed my mocks thoroughly, going through every wrong questions and the content, I'm very confused with the strategy to attempt the test. In both my Kaplan tests I was rushed for time in verbal section. In last 3 tests, I got most of my questions wrong in last 10 questions in quant and 20 questions in verbal.
Here are the questions I'm seeking the answers for:
1. Most of the mistakes I make during exam in Quant were silly mistakes, except a few. As soon as I go back to review the test, I'm able to figure out where I went wrong, without looking at the solution. Is there any way to eliminate these mistakes in tests?
2. When I practice (timed) verbal questions from
OG or other sources, my accuracy in SC and CR is around 70 - 80% and 60 - 70% in RC, but during exams it fluctuates. Sometimes SC goes till 80% and RC drops at 40%. I'm wondering how to be consistent with the accuracy throughout my practice sessions and tests.
3. I would also like to know the strategy to analyse my mocks properly. The methods floating on internet are not working for me.
