Need Feedback on My TTP Quant Progress (Target: Q86+)

Hi everyone,

I'm targeting Q86+ (ideally Q90) on the GMAT Focus and would appreciate feedback from people who have scored Q86+, especially those who used TTP.

A few notes:

I've completed 100% of the lessons and examples for all the chapters listed below.

Some Easy tests were intentionally skipped and I'll complete them closer to the exam.

Toward the end of TTP, I completed multiple chapter tests on the same day, so fatigue may have affected a few Hard scores.

3. Do these results indicate a solid foundation for aiming at Q86+, or is there anything that stands out as a concern?

He is actually the opposite of what you need. It would be a contender for correct answer if it said that the manager ignores the possibility that they are NOT universality distributed but if they are universally distributed that’s great

But if abscences are universally distributed, it makes explaining very easily

I will add this to the explanation for the question because frankly the explanation is a bit meh.

I would recommend including official guide in your course practice. This keeps the course honest because the course gives you topics specifically built on the patterns that they try to teach you and that is a good thing. You don’t want to learn something and then get a completely unrelated set of questions. You wanted the course to help you remember and create that neural connection.

But you also want to see how you’re doing on the more general list of questions such as the ones from the official guide so once you cover a particular topic, incorporate the official guide but only if you need to incorporate... you may find it is too easy or too boring and that’s fine.

There is no reason for you to solve every single question from the official guide if you know how to solve questions already. Or if you find them too easy. That is redundant. It’s nowhere mentioned that you must complete the official guide as some kind of a right of passage.

Stupidly enough, I proved this theory by being poor and stupid and not buying an official guide 😂

The goal in the GMAT is to not spend the longest time studying for it but be a combination of good enough and fast enough. If you can cover the material well enough while also spending about three months and not stretching it to six, and my stupid opinion, you have a higher chance of succeeding and getting a higher score. This is because the brains we have to forget things overtime and if you study for six or nine or 12 months, gaps develop on their own and it becomes like a leaky bucket so that’s why doing it fast enough is just as important as good enough.

Using the leaky bucket an allergy, think about it as your timeline is how fast you’re walking with a leaky bucket and you’re studying is how much water you put in.

You can put in a really full bucket of water but if you’re slow walking it, and it’s leaking, it’s gonna leak a lot of water out even though you put in quite a bit in there. At the same time maybe you didn’t feel it quite fully but you’re walking really fast - you’ll be able to carry more water to the end point.

Were the types of questions very similar, somewhat closer or very different? By similarity I dont mean exact familiar questions but similarity in the way a comcept is tested.

When I'm going 705 level ques, should I sort the questions by kudos or something else? Till now I've only followed the default sequence.

It's a personal preference TBH, I used to solve Official questions at that level and used to sort by views. Kudos also works ig.
