Area of equilateral triangle = \(\frac{1}{4}*\sqrt{3}*a^2\)

Altitude of equilateral triangle = \(\frac{1}{2}*\sqrt{3}*a\)

Ratio of area to altitude = \(\frac{a}{2}\)

From the question stem, a = 2. Thus ratio = 2/2 = 1 i.e. B is the answer.
