Online GMAT ID proof query

Question

Hi everyone,

I am Indian candidate, planning to take the Online GMAT in July. I have a slight issue though. I'm currently not in carrying my passport (it is at my work location, but I'm in my native town).

So my question is that for candidates in India, What kind of ID proof will work for online GMAT? Can we use something other my passport? Do people have used anything else?

For Indian test-takers, Passport is the only valid documents to show in the exam.

You can check by calling GMAC indian care number available on mba.com

They can accurately tell you the solution to it

Hey, I have the same issue as this. I had contacted GMAC through e-mail and they confirmed that I can use Driver's License or National Identity Card for Online GMAT - it is also mentioned on mba.com. However, I also contacted Pearson VUE via chat and they had no clue about it so I am guessing it could still be a problem on the test day if the proctor is not aware of this change (Note: this is only for Online GMAT).

I think the best we could do is somehow show the proctor the e-mail confirmation from the GMAC or point him/her to the relevant page on mba.com

I called the APAC customer service and they too did say the same that the proctor would be aware of it, and any govt. issue ID card will work, so for India driving license is good.

Driving license here dont have photos.
Can adhaar card be a valid id.
(It doesnt have a signature)
