My application is still under review (according to the applications status page).

Do you know if all interview invitations were sent yesterday, or is it a process that takes a few days to send all invites.

At Stern they trickle out over time.

I applied on 11/25, which would be R3 and just completed my interview today. Happy to answer any questions.

Mind sharing your interview experience? e.g. How long did it take, what were the questions like (doesn't have to be specific); how did you feel about it; Whether/how did it change your view to NYU

The interview was just under 30 minutes. It was very conversational and low stress. Since the interviewer had read my application, the questions were targeted and focused mostly on my career plan. I was also asked how I would contribute to the program and which clubs/organizations I would take part in.

Best advice is to know your application, goals, and why Stern.

To answer the last part of your question, my opinion of the program grew more positive after the interview. They provide a customized packet of information based on your interests, which I appreciated.

Thank you for your note, Yekrut. And, congratulations on the progress. Also, I hope that interview was in 2017 because otherwise that'd be COOL! ha ha.

I had applied on 15th November 2016. I still haven't heard back from them. Although the initial notification deadline is 15th February 2017, is this practically a ding? I know hasan2mn was invited a week before the initial notification deadline. Anybody else aware or faced such a thing?

Hi, can you tell me whether you flew down for the interview or did it happen in India?
Also, were you informed via email or a call?

I know as a fact that NYU does not necessarily process applications in order they are received, even they are from different rounds. I think this is a strategy of theirs to make sure they have the class mix they want, but it is indeed a bit unfair, especially to applicants who sees NYU as their first choice. Now that there are a number of people from round 3 received their interview invites, round 2 applicants don't drop your hope yet. You will definitely hear back in the next week or so.
