Re: Calling all Rotman (Toronto) MBA Applicants:(2018 Intake)Class of 2020 [#permalink]
Thank you guys for the response. I appreciate the quick revert from the group. I am also curious to know from the forum are there any CFAs applying to Rotman ? Rotman website mentioned that it waives off the GMAT for CFAs. Although I have a score of 670 on GMAT, I want to know does Rotman give special consideration to CFA certification ?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I have heard, there is no special treatment given to those with a CFA.
But if you have both it is an added advantage. You could report both the scores
and it could work in your advantage.

As far as I have heard, the CFA can be used to waive the GMAT requirement.
One of the admits for the batch of 2020, apandey123 had cleared the three
levels of CFA and if i am not wrong, used it to waive. He may be able to assist
you better.

Hi Guys,

I just received an interview invitation from Rotman. Can anyone suggest me how to get in touch with people who've already interviewed/received admission offer. I just want to make sure I'm well prepared.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like more and more Indian applicants are getting interview invites.... feels like I should move on.

Are there more people in the same boat as me?

Guys, I heard from Lynda, they are still going through the applications. I had mailed her last week to check if they received my GMAT score as I couldn't see it marked 'Received'. She emailed me yesterday saying that I still have your file for review and you'll be hearing from me shortly and I got an interview invitation today.

I'm pretty sure they are still reviewing a ton of applications.

I applied on Oct 14 (Saturday). I think they are now getting to the applications submitted around that time.

I guess since many applied to Rotman this year from India they are taking time to consider us. LOL..

I'm not sure whether to be worried or laugh. Did not even receive an email after they sent me an email to upload my resume again. It's almost been a month now!!

Hey everyone!

I just got done with my interview with Ally Morrow and all in all it was a pleasant experience. The interview lasted for 50 minutes and was very conversational. For all the Indian applicants on this group, I have some news:

The admissions team will be looking at interviewing most of you when they come down for their event in India sometime during the end of this month. Especially all of you who are from the cities that they will be visiting. The rest of you might have a skype interview. So sit back and hold tight! Don't get disheartened right now.Expect invites to flow in as late as the 3rd week of this month!

Stay positive and stay hopeful. All the best!
