Is it necessary to subscribe via email to get the homework?

When I expand week 1 quant section I don't see any homework.

Hi. You do not have to subscribe to the email. The email is just a reminder.

Let me check with GMATNinja about the links in the homework section.

I just fixed the links and layout again, but we're battling a small technical glitch with the website, and my links disappear every once in a while. The issue should be fixed pretty quickly, hopefully -- but if you see anything else like that, please keep letting us know. Thank you so much!

Hi, is there a way to access all the weeks at once? I'm thinking of expediting my prep, this guide would help me plan it better.

Thank you!

that’s an interesting question because the official guide is called 2024-2025 edition.

There is no 2024 or 2025 editions.

No, please don't try to shorten the study plan! That simply isn't what it's designed for -- it's meant to be 13 weeks of intense work, for people looking for a large improvement. It isn't a crash-course, and if you try to shorten it, you'll use the materials in less-than-ideal ways.

So if you're looking for a short-term fix, this isn't it, unfortunately.

Sorry for the bad news!

I don’t have access to LSAT books for verbal. Is it okay if I pick up the Verbal Review 2019?
We recommend the LSAT for all of the reasons mentioned here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/why-you-shou ... 39365.html.

It's not the end of the world if you wanted to skip the LSATs. It's just that LSATs give you really, really clear data about your consistency from day to day, since every LSAT section is roughly the same difficulty and length. And they'll really challenge your ability to power your way through complicated language.

If the problem is that you can't get access to the books, you can always find LSAT tests via LawHub. If you'd just prefer not to do them, that's OK -- just be aware that you'll miss out on some challenges and data that are usually incredibly valuable for test-takers with lofty verbal ambitions.

Also, keep in mind that the 2019 Verbal Guide will have some questions that also appear in the newer versions of the Verbal Guide. So interpret the results accordingly if you decide to use that book.

I hope that helps!

I just ordered LSAT books off Amazon. However, I am a bit confused by what an LSAT 'Set' is? Is a set a compilation of 25 questions in the book? Is it already categorized like that within the LSAT books?

I was solving LSAT questions through GMATCLUB and a lot of them were 805+ difficulty questions. So I wasn't able to pinpoint my weaknesses in the 'set' I created through GMATCLUB cause some of the questions were just way too hard. Let me know what comprises of a set.

Yes, the LSAT exams are broken into sections, with roughly 25 questions per section. In the older books, each exam usually has 2 CR ("Logical Reasoning" in LSAT parlance) sections and 1 RC section.

Just do those, and I promise you'll learn a ton about yourself. Yes, plenty of the individual questions are incredibly hard. But that's good practice, and the benchmarks in the study plan will give you a sense of how to think about your LSAT results in the context of the GMAT.

Enjoy!
