Hey all,
I am embarking on my (approx. 13 week) GMAT study plan. I've created an Excel schedule outlining when I will be doing my practice exams. Can people please comment on how I've spaced out my practice exams? I haven't filled in the weekdays with how I will tackle the books yet, but I plan to follow a
similar schedule as WMW (look for his topic Gmat Study Plan).
Here are my materials:
1.
OG 12
2.
OG Quant3.
OG Verbal4.
MGMAT Number Properties
5.
MGMAT Geometry
6.
MGMAT Word Translations
7.
MGMAT Equations, Inequalities, & VIC's
8.
MGMAT Fractions, Decimals, %'s
9.
MGMAT Sentence Correction10.
Powerscore Critical Reasoning11. Princeton Review Verbal Workout
As far as CATs go, I am planning to do 6
MGMAT CAT's (is there another free one in addition to the 6 that come with your books?), the Free PR CAT, the Free Kaplan CAT, & each GMAT Prep CAT 3x. I have not yet worked in the
Gmat Club Tests into my schedule, but I will do these as well. I also have the 1000RC, 1000SC, & 1000CR. I plan on doing most of these as well.
1st MonthFinish all the math
MGMAT books, doing CAT's & some of the Gmat Club exercises. Use
OG Quant as a final review tool. I will also do a little verbal during this time. I can already tell the PR book I got above (#11) is somewhat of a beginner's book so I may just work through this concurrently with my math books to give myself some initial exposure. I may also do some of the
MGMAT SC book during this time. From what I hear this book is worth going through multiple times and it's thick so I may try to get some of this done during this time as well.
2nd MonthFinish all verbal books, doing CAT's on weekends. I will also review some of the tougher math problems to keep my understanding at a high level during this verbal month. 1000RC/SC/CR will be done during this time as well. Use
OG Verbal as a final review tool.
3rd MonthOG 12, review all weak areas, practice, etc. until game day.
I don't know if what I've planned is even feasible considering those 1000 series look like they will take forever. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
