even i got the one stating "look forward to considering you for admission to Michigan Ross." and no other emails from ROSS.

One of my recommender posted his recco 6 hrs post deadline. does that mean i'm not considered in R2 ?

Someone please clarify.

I got both, but just got the evaluation one yesterday. Who didn't get the "been forwarded for an evaluation" email?

I did not get the second email. I got the first one. I did not get the one that says: Greetings from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business! Your application is now complete and has been forwarded for an evaluation. You should expect a decision by the posted decision notification date found on our website for the Full-time MBA program.

Both of my recommenders filled out their recommendations on or before the 2nd. I guess we'll find out tomorrow what these emails mean

Looking at ppl who have received the email about forwarding the app for evaluation, I notice that all their scores are above 730. I believe they are sorting out the applications according to GMAT only. I am R2 applicant to ROSS (Yes! Indian) , how much ever I hate to say this but, Tepper and Ross actually invite to interview only 720 + students (I am talking about Indians here). I am not even expecting a interview call. Mind you there have been people with stellar GMATS those who have been rejected. But for me I can see the fate. So good luck to all you ppl waiting. I guess the top schools should come out and just say 7xx below , don't bother to apply. At least I would have saved 200$.
Hope they would have give a read to my essays atleast, They should appreciate the effort that people putin for the application.

BTW its just my opinion. And I wish all hopefuls get the call
