Got GMAT exam today and was very dissapointed with this result (Q44 and V25 or 24) i don't remember exactly my verbal since I was in shock. I expected a more than that since I completed all Manhattan guides and Most of the GMAT Official Verbal review. I am determined to take 2nd test as soon as possible , but don't know from where to start after today's failure...   I have roughly 30 days and would be pleased if you could aid me.

I don't know whether I should sign up and pay 300$ for online preparation like e-gmat (it has the best reviews) or there is other strategy.

I need the most effective guide for SC (already have Manhattan SC)

Give me advices if you have some about study plan and books

Would appreciate Kudos))

Thanks and wish you all good luck in exam )

Did you take any practice exams before the Official GMAT?

For first time I did GMAT test Prep but forgot to stop Verbal part that's why scored 490. After only did Kaplan CAT 1 and scored 590 (withou AWA and integrated reasoning) . I thought KAPLAN's verbal is much harder than actual GMAT.

My main problem is SC ((

Resad,

The good thing about SC is that it is generally the easiest to improve in a short amount of time. If this is your weak area as you say, see if this kind of approach helps: https://www.gmatpill.com/sentencecorrect ... ythons.mp4

Hi Resad95,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to retake the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi Hi, Resad95,

I’m sorry to hear about your recent struggles with the GMAT. I am happy to provide some specific advice on how to improve your quant score; however, it would be helpful to first learn some more about your GMAT experience and MBA goals. I have a few questions:

1) What is your GMAT score goal?

2) What is your study routine? For how many months did you study for your first GMAT and for how many hours a day?

3) To which schools do you plan to apply?

4) What deadlines are you targeting?

5) Do you have the flexibility to move your second GMAT to a later date?

Once I have this information, I will be happy to provide some advice.

You don't seem to be happy with a score of 590 so I wish to know what is your practically achievable GMAT target score???

Since you are left with only one month for the test so I wouldn't advise you to go ahead with online recorded sessions as it may not satisfy your requirement and such recorded sessions are a good supplement for a student who has plenty of time to improve the level.

To answer the other question, I must tell you that having the best study material isn't enough instead learning the most out of it is going to help you so the important part for you is to get the correct essence out of the resources that you already have.

You might want to consider taking a free assessment demo session with Dr. Sushma Jha who is an outstanding Verbal faculty and might help you with your problem area. She gives online One-on-One interactive session through skype live chat so you may customize it as per your requirement.

Take a free demo session and find out if it's helpful. She is reachable on Sushma.Jha@GMATinsight.com

I hope this helps!!!
