Answer = B) 2.5 × 10^17

(Mass of Moon) * (How many times??) = (Mass of Sun)

Answer \(= \frac{2*10^{30}}{8*10^{12}} = 0.25 * 10^{18} = 2.5 * 10^{17}\)

Mass of sun = x * Mass of moon
x = Mass of sun / Mass of moon = (2 × 10^30) / (8 × 10^12) = 2*2^-3*10^18 = 10^18/4 = 2.5*10^17

Ans. B) 2.5 × 10^17

Kudos for a correct solution.

M1/M2 = (2*10^30)/(8*10^12)
=(2*10^18)/(8)
=(20*10^17)/8
=2.5*10^17
Hence, the correct option is B
