Pleasantly surprised by how the application process has gone so far and will have some tough decisions ahead but very very grateful. :lol:

Congrats!! If I am not wrong, you are the first domestic applicant reporting admit today. All other calls reported today were by international applicants.

Not necessarily. It seems the calls have just started to go out. And some R1 folks received information only through mail.

Just saw a missed call from MSB while I stepped away that "they have some very good news to share with me" and to keep an eye out on an email later this afternoon. :-D

Since he didn't explicitly say to call back I won't, but I may get antsy in the afternoon.

Status on the portal is stilled "submitted".

Same thing happened to me 5 hrs ago. Got a missed called call. Did not receive any email till now. Nor has the portal been updated. I just left a voicemail at the number. Got my fingers crossed.

As long as you dont get an explicit reject mail, you are in with a chance. I was not called last year, did not even got an email saying that I was admitted. It was just an automated portal update mail and I was awarded 50k scholarship as well. So, stay calm and enjoy the nervous wait guys...it is worth it :-)
