Hey @Peavy, there's absolutely no need to apologise.... I'd actually be quite happy if they release the decisions a day early (one less day of anxiety!).
The Yale SOM AdCom did start calling people a day before the R2 deadline last year, but that's only because the deadline date was a national holiday and a day off for the school. I don't think it's likely that will be the case for every round. Also, you are correct: some other schools do start making some calls earlier.

I just want to avoid people freaking out when they did not get a call on Monday. I never thought that application season would put such a strain on my nerves :D
