Only gmat 730+ applicant invited. This is disheartening. It would be terrible to be not called for interview when top 10 colleges have invited for the same ( I have gmat 710).

I have a 730 score and haven't received an invite. I don't think that's the only criteria.

Interviewed during the open interview period. It was with a recent graduate. Overall pleasant and conversational.

Standard questions - why Emory? Why mba now? Post mba goals and how you plan on getting there? Leadership experience - tell me any leading experience you have. tell me what you don't like about your current company and what you would've changed if you were a leader with power?

This thread has been relatively quiet so far. Hoping there's still a chance for an interview but that window is starting to shrink. Perhaps they are using their round two applicants to get a feel for the class and how we compare? Still trying to remain optimistic.

I went through the last year's thread today and it was the same story last year as well. The notification date last year was December 4th, and they supposedly sent the invites till November 21st. I saw that someone reported an invite today on livewire. I guess we can keep our hopes alive till this Friday, though the chances are slim. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to you too.

Just looked at clear admit someone that got an interview request today informed Tuesday looks to be the last day. Also they received the invite at 3 am est. so maybe they won't come during the day but night but at least there's some hope.

I received my interview invite about a day ago. Another 10 hours or so to go. I think I was one of the last to receive an invite. All the slots seem to be booked up at this point.

Pretty standard interview stuff:

-5 minute intro (talk over your resume)
-A couple of "tell me about a time when..."
-How will you contribute to our diverse student body?

It's pretty laid back and conversational, at least in my case. I thought it went quite well, but we shall see in December.

Also did a class visit and tour, which was really cool. I wish it was decision day already!

For anyone who is still interviewing... i had my interview a few days ago and here are my takeaways:

typical MBA questions for the first 10-15 min.
afterwards they go deeper into resume and specific things that differentiate your work experience. (so i would suggest going over everything you've done and how it impacted you)
the last part of the interview they ask more personal question. like "how would your coworkers describe you?"
"what do you do for fun and why?"

last 10 min. for questions. good luck everyone.

I had my interview with Heather Holland. The interview was very conversational and it did not feel as if she was following a script. She asked the basic "Y mba? Y goizueta? How would your co-workers describe you (Goizueta asks this to every interviewee it seems)? My interests apart from work?" The interview went on for 28 mins including the time it took her to answer my questions.
