Since the admissions committee typically don`t work on holidays, the thread was a bit dull.

Coming to your point, I too have not got any response from NTU so far. Let us see whether something turns up today.

This mail makes me sceptical. My two cents on this issue are:

1. We may receive a mail soon or an online status change

2. If we don`t receive anything, an implicit assumption is that we have been dinged. (I am not able to completely grasp what the email is trying to convey).

I guess you are right. Although in my E-mail to them, I explicitly asked if the applications are still in consideration stage or is it that those short listed have been notified. To which I got the above reply.

Even I received a similar email when I had a query regarding the application.The reply was so generic that nothing could be interpreted from it.

Guys!!

Lets NOT lose hope here. I think it simply means that they have a huge number of applications and they could NOT evaluate all of them by 10th Feb and hence the delay. That is why now they are mentioning the decision date, which is 8th March.

Let's wait!

Yes brother, diplomacy hurts a bit. But at the end of the day, we are competing for (100 seats - R1 Filled) * (% for each region/country) - Which I see is a pretty small number. So the number of invites too will be proportionately low.
